My interest in pottery began when I decided to take a throwing class at the North Arts Center in Dunwoody, Georgia when I was 12 years old. After my first class, I fell in love with the art of throwing, and I found myself wanting to learn more about the entire pottery-making process. I continued to take several classes during high school and also participated in a workshop given by world-famous potter, Robin Hopper. Since then, I have gained most of my skills through many years of practice, which is the key to making successful pots and glazes!
Currently, I live in Birmingham, Alabama and spend most of my time working in my studio. I specialize in making functional pottery as well as ceramic Christmas ornaments and crosses. Each piece is made of high-quality, stoneware clay and is glazed by hand and fired twice in my kiln. I mix my own glazes from raw chemicals and offer reliable glazes in a variety of colors. All of my pottery is food-safe and crafted for daily use! I hope you enjoy browsing through my web site and that you like what you see!
